Campaigning to Impeach Obama

Commemorating the last administration shift using the U.S.
changing of the guard, if Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst has his way, Obama may see a new picture made
for him sooner than he thought.
Impeach Obama. That’s what the Texas Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst wants.

At a Tea Party forum, Monday, October 14th, to elect candidates to replace him, Dewhurst said that Obama’s impeachment should be due to how his office handled the attack that included the death of U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens in Benghazi, Libya last year.

Impeaching Obama has been coming up through out his entire administration through bumper stickers and home-made billboards, but to no avail.

Even the Tea Party itself has also seemed to always be against Obama. Many think this is because of his race including of racist hatred for a mixed-race President (recall the unending controversy over his birth certificate) than merely against Washington’s Big Government."

But now it has a front man to lead the charge.

According to Bud Gillett of CBS 11 News, Dewhurst went even further and said. “I am very concerned about Benghazi, in which all of the national news reporting indicated that live video was streaming into the White House situation room. Which means there was a(n) overhead platform, probably a drone in the area.  At least that’s what it tells me. And for not mobilizing some response to protect the ambassador and those three Americans is just outrageous to me. Just outrageous.”

But Hayes Brown of ThinkProgress.org, a liberal news media site, added some light to what Dewhurst said.

“In the weeks after the attack, media reports spoke of an unarmed drone being rerouted to fly over Benghazi to survey the area. State Department official Charlene Lamb also noted while testifying before Congress that Foggy Bottom was getting updates ‘almost in real time.’ This was referring to speaking with people on the ground via telephone, however, not watching a video feed,” he said.

Hayes also reported the Obama administration denied anything having to do with watching the Benghazi attacks in a live feed.

Now, According to Christy Hoppe of the Dallas News, Dewhurst continues against Obama, campaigning across the country for his impeachment.

Dewhurst is breaking bad. He has become a blue-meth Republican — a term coined by commentator Howard Fineman about GOPers obsessed with conservative purity, at the cost of all else. DD meets WW,” she said.

Petitions are currently in circulation and if you have time, you can read the incredibly long list of the Articles of Impeachment, where the case for why he should be or would be impeached is made in a 61 point argument. No author is named, only the Western Center for Journalism as contributors, though they claim to have chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee and threatens to take their own action.

"That’s why I want to be very clear: if the President takes us to war with Iran without Congressional approval, I will call for his impeachment," he said.

If Dewhurst succeeds, that doesn’t mean that Obama is gone though. He would just be brought up on charges for his actions while in office.
